What is Restylane?
Restylane is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid that is specifically formulated to act like your body's own naturally produced hyaluronic acid, helping to visibly correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Hyaluronic acid, or HA is a vital part of your skin's makeup and helps retain skin's youthful volume.
Restylane is a safe filler that has been FDA approved for multiple injection sights. It is naturally formulated to add volume and retain elasticity characteristic of younger skin. The skin naturally loses HA over time which causes thinning and also dehydration, making skin more susceptible to folds and wrinkles, Restylane can treat and smooth those resulting lines and signs of aging through expertly placed injections.
Which areas are treated with Restylane?
Restylane can be used to treat the nasolabial folds, which run from your nose to the corners of your mouth, as well as the marionette lines, from the corners of your mouth to the chin. Restylane is also uniquely formulated to add volume and define the lips and is FDA approved for treatment of the lips in patients over the age of 21.
Restylane filler is formulated to be able to beautifully enhance the lips. Its special formula adds size and mass to the lip without losing its natural shape, but adding natural definition.
